چکیده
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics text reading fluency error analysis Korean 1st and 2nd graders with developmental dyslexia considering semantic knowledge. Methods: Thirty dyslexic children were divided into two groups 15 children, one group poor vocabulary other not. Both had similar word decoding abilities as determined by Language based Reading Assessment (Pae, Kim, Yoon, & Jang, 2015). normal intelligence difficulties in reading. task taken from Assessment. They also showed phoneme-grapheme non-correspondent linguistic Conclusion: According automaticity theory, we need read texts understanding on basis. Even same level decoding, there more due limited knowledge vocabulary. Paragraphs textbooks grades Korea contain several ‘eojeols’ that combine grammatical morpheme graphemes. Therefore, addition grapho-phonology syllable units, triple word-form bases should be examined.

The primary goal was to expand our understanding of text reading fluency (efficiency or automaticity)-how its relation to other constructs (e.g., word reading fluency and reading comprehension) changes over time and how it is different from word reading fluency and reading comprehension. We examined (1) developmentally changing relations among word reading fluency, listening comprehension, text...

We tested the hypothesis that crowding effects are responsible for the reading slowness characteristic of developmental dyslexia. A total of twenty-nine Italian dyslexics and thirty-three age-matched controls participated in various parts of the study. In Experiment 1, we measured contrast thresholds for identifying letters and words as a function of stimulus duration. Thresholds were higher in...
متن کاملBrain Bases of Reading Fluency in Typical Reading and Impaired Fluency in Dyslexia
Although the neural systems supporting single word reading are well studied, there are limited direct comparisons between typical and dyslexic readers of the neural correlates of reading fluency. Reading fluency deficits are a persistent behavioral marker of dyslexia into adulthood. The current study identified the neural correlates of fluent reading in typical and dyslexic adult readers, using...
